TryGryphs hit the quan

Caroline Zummach, Staff Writer

As new dance crazes appear, the Gryphon Gazette is ready to tackle the moves. From the stanky leg to the dougie, to the whip and to the nae-nae, all the way to today’s current dance craze of hitting the Quan.

Hitting the Quan evolved when native Memphis rapper, iHeart Memphis, transformed the dance that rapper Rich Homie Quan often performs on stage during his song, “Flex.” The song “Hit the Quan” was released in July, a few months after the music video for “Flex.”

“Hit the Quan” has been interpreted all across YouTube and Vine. Gryphons have been seen hitting the quan in the student section of football games and other places around school.

Let’s watch as members of the Gryphon Gazette and the St. George’s student body show their “Hit the Quan” skills by participating in #SGHitsTheQuan.
